Capacity Center for Climate & Weather Extremes

The Capacity Center for Climate and Weather Extremes was established in 2016 in response to a growing need to bring together cutting-edge science, engineering and technology, with decision-makers from all disciplines. It is a hub for novel research, hosting visitors from academia and industry alike; educational development, from short tutorials to long-term student mentoring; enhanced multidisciplinary and multi-cultural communication; and development of tools bringing the power of the new research into the hands of those making decisions, in ways that they find useful.
